Slieve Gullion Mountain

Visit Slieve Gullion Forest Park set in the Famous Ring Of Gullion, an are recognised for it's natural outstanding beauty.  This is a beautiful place for all the family to spend the day. Walk through The giant's liar and visit the fairies, have a coffee or lunch in the courtyard café , spend endless hours of fun in the outdoor adventure play area or take a scenic drive to the top of the mountain where you can park and enjoy an off road trek to the highest peak in county Armagh, here you can view six counties on a clear day. At the summit you will find a small lake and two ancient burial grounds one of which is the highest surviving burial ground in Ireland, Slieve Gullion is featured in Irish mythology where it is associated with Cailleach and heroes Fionn Mac Cumhaill and Cu Chulainn.

Cooley Peninsula

Also part of the Ring Of Gullion, the Cooley peninsula has much to offer,  visit the scenic fishing village of Carlingford, Carlingford Brewery Tour , Carlingford leprechaun Cavern and there many pubs and great sea food restaurants

Also close by is  The Cooley Whiskey visitor centre, many Walking tours, The Darcy Mc Gee exhibition and Greenore Railway village,


Camlough Mountain & The Crooked Lake

The Crooked Lake outside the village of Camlough is famous as the home of Ireland's only outdoor swimming Festival every August, it's also popular for its water sports, picnic areas and 

Coarse fishing.
